We only use your data for the following purposes, and we have a legal basis for doing so under GDPR:

  • To Provide and Maintain Our Service (Performance of a Contract): We use your profile data to provide you with the core features of Skilltide, such as generating your scores, career roadmaps, and market insights.
  • To Improve Our AI Models (Legitimate Interest): We use anonymized and aggregated data to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of our analysis. We have a legitimate interest in making our service better for all users.
  • To Communicate With You (Performance of a Contract): We use your email to send essential service-related communications, such as account verification and updates.
  • With Your Consent: For any other purpose, we will ask for your explicit consent before using your personal information.

We implement robust security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

  • CV Handling: Your uploaded CV document is used for immediate processing and is permanently deleted from our servers afterward. We only store the extracted, non-personal results required for your score.
  • Data Retention: We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you choose to delete your account, all of your personal data and analysis results will be immediately and permanently erased from our systems.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

Your data is processed by our service providers, including Railway Corporation (for hosting) and Google (for AI models), which may involve transferring data outside of the European Union (EU). We ensure such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, primarily through the use of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
